Help where and when it works best for you. Ruth Asawa School of the Arts (SOTA) values all community volunteers and we’ve got volunteer roles that match your skills and your schedule.
You can sign up as a short-term/ after hours volunteer and we will help connect you with the school community, or sign up as a recurring school day volunteer through the San Francisco Ed Fund.

A once-a-week volunteer commitment through the SF Education Fund to support classrooms, teachers, and students during the school day. You choose from their list of options.
Join the School Day TeamFlexible opportunities outside school hours, from after-school programs to PTA events, community projects, and more.

Help tutor SOTA students in STEM subjects.

Support the PTSA in showing appreciation for staff and Artists-In-Residence with in-person distribution or remote video editing support!

Support budding students, faculty, and parents during the SOTA audition process through physical audition day volunteering.
Donate to SOTA's PTSA, which funds artists in residence on campus.
