Help where and when it works best for you. New Traditions Creative Arts Elementary School values all community volunteers and we’ve got volunteer roles that match your skills and your schedule.
You can sign up as a short-term/ after hours volunteer and we will help connect you with the school community, or sign up as a recurring school day volunteer through the San Francisco Ed Fund.

My kid is in 5th grade now and has attended New Traditions since kindergarten. The parent community is well-organized, supportive, and inclusive. The arts program is great, especially for a public school. SFUSD as a whole does have its challenges, but the New Traditions PTA works with the school staff to fill in the gaps as needed (funding a reading specialist, an extra teacher, etc).
